Wenchang Pavilion is located in the town of Plain County, was built in the 16th year of the Ming Dynasty (1480), has a history of more than five hundred years. It is twelve meters high, using brick and wood structure, the bottom of the two layers of green brick high platform, above the two layers of wood structure pavilion, the overall pyramid shape. The lower quadrangular, red lacquer column support; upper hexagonal, green glazed tile roof glittering in the sun.
Wenchang Pavilion was originally enshrined in the Wenchang Jun, praying for the place of science and technology, is a symbol of ancient culture. After many repairs, it has now become an important cultural and tourist attraction in Pingyuan County, continuing to pass on its history and cultural charm.
